Headaches

Have you had enough of your headaches? Living with them can be hard work, making it difficult to concentrate and stopping you from doing the things you enjoy. It is also very common with over 10 million people in the UK suffering from them regularly.

While painkillers can provide a short term solution, according to the National Institute of Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE) – who provide guidance for doctors and other health professionals – long-term use of painkillers, such as aspirin, paracetamol and the non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), such as ibuprofen, can actually worsen the headache, both in terms of severity and frequency.
